Program accomplishments

  • In 2025, the Foundation for Joy continued to make significant strides in its mission (sharing ancient wisdom for healing and empowerment while providing tangible support to communities in need, in particular at risk orphanages and orphaned kids). 1. Supporting Several Orphanages in Nepal Provided ongoing financial aid for food, education, and healthcare to support the children in the orphanages in need Developed sustainable funding strategies to ensure long-term stability for these children. Our aim is to keep them cared for in safe & loving homes, to help prevent them from trafficking and other horrible alternatives. Developed & expanded the Bridge program, to support the kids who turn 18 and by law are required to leave the home.2. Kathmandu Visits & Volunteer Support Supported immersive tour visits in Nepal to deepen our capacity to serve the kids at the orphanages, win the hearts of supporters, as well as increase awareness of ancient healing practices and cultural heritage. Facilitated meaningful connections between participants and local communities.3. Global Community Engagement Expanded our reach by connecting with more communities in the USA & Europe, fostering a more engaged donor community through live and online events.4. Nonprofit Growth, Structure & Governance Took concrete steps to formalize governance to include activating an advisory board (10-15 members) to support fundraising efforts, and initiated a new group of people who specifically donate towards the administrative expenses of the foundation so a higher percentage of other donations can go directly to support the children in Nepal. Set up more structure around good governance of our organization to continue being good stewards of donor dollars. Explored new partnerships and opportunities to scale our efforts.
