Program accomplishments
- TO FURTHER SUPPORT THE IMPORTANT AND IMPACTFUL MISSION OF OYC AND WITHIN THE ABOVE RESTRICTIONS, THE CORPORATION SPECIFICALLY INTENDS TO ACCEPT THE CONTRIBUTION BY OYC OF A LEASEHOLD INTEREST IN THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS 450 NW 14TH STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA 33136 (THE 'PROPERTY'), UPON WHICH IT INTENDS TO RENOVATE THE EXISTING 18,000 SQUARE FOOT OVERTOWN YOUTH CENTER FACILITY INTO A 56,000 SQUARE FOOT, STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY. HIS NEW FACILITY WILL ALLOW OYC TO INCREASE ITS CAPACITY TO SERVE OVER 5,000 YOUTH AND FAMILIES, USING THE NEWLY RENOVATED FACILITY AS THE MAIN HUB THAT WILL DEPLOY STAFF AND SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY-AT-LARGE.
