- Exposure Project provides career shadowing opportunities that expose youth to various industries and learn more about their careers and personal journeys through a hands-on approach. Participants also have the opportunity to engage in our yearly experiential youth summit where they have the opportunity to engage in various workshops that provide on site assimilation activities. This allows participants to have an understanding of their career interest and obtain knowledge of skills/ experiences needed in preferred careers leading to future employment opportunities. These shadowing opportunities increase participants' employability and development of critical skills that are valued in the workplace. We have been able to partner with over 100 Industry Experts since our inception in 2019 having operated in over 95 Industries.
- Exposure Project provides exposure trips where participants have the opportunity to encounter new experiences by attending these trips from community volunteering to immersive experiences allowing them to have increased exposure to environments different from their own. Parent engagement is also critical as these engagement activities facilitate family building. This increases parental awareness of a child's career goals and seeing them choose a career path as well as seeing improvement in youths behavior at home. We have been able to provide 63 exposure trips and parent engagement activities during this past year.
