Program accomplishments

  • IN 2024, THE LAROUCHE LEGACY FOUNDATION CONTINUED TO DEDICATE MOST OF ITS RESOURCES TO THE PRESERVATION AND ARCHIVING OF DIGITAL COPIES OF THE WORKS OF LYNDON LAROUCHE. THIS INCLUDED: VIDEOS - A TOTAL OF 728 VIDEOS AND AUDIOS IN DIFFERENT FORMATS WERE PROFESSIONALLY DIGITIZED AND RETURNED TO LLF, AND THE PROCESS OF CATALOGUING, EDITING, ADDING METADATA, AND SO ON WAS BEGUN. ADDITIONALLY, ANOTHER 1,000 OR SO ORIGINAL VIDEOS AND AUDIOS WERE INITIALLY ID'D AND CATALOGUED, IN PREPARATION FOR SENDING THEM OFF FOR DIGITIZATION IN 2025. NEWSPAPERS - THE PROCESS WAS BEGUN OF LOCATING, EDITING AND ADDING METADATA ON THE ARTICLES BY LAROUCHE IN THE 23,000 DIGITIZED PAGES OF VARIOUS NEWSPAPER PUBLICATIONS THAT HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY DIGITIZED. MAGAZINES - FINALIZED VERSIONS OF HUNDREDS OF RAW PDFS OF LAROUCHE ARTICLES IN EIR MAGAZINE WERE PREPARED. ARCHIVING - THE GROWING VOLUME OF DIGITIZED MATERIAL WAS COPIED AND SEPARATELY ARCHIVED IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS, FOR SAFETY REASONS.
