- GIVING TUESDAY IS A GLOBAL GENEROSITY MOVEMENT THAT UNLEASHES THE POWER OF RADICAL GENEROSITY AROUND THE WORLD. GIVING TUESDAY WAS CREATED IN 2012 AS A SIMPLE IDEA: A DAY THAT ENCOURAGES PEOPLE TO DO GOOD. OVER THE PAST THIRTEEN YEARS, THIS IDEA HAS GROWN INTO A GLOBAL MOVEMENT THAT INSPIRES HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE TO GIVE, COLLABORATE, AND CELEBRATE GENEROSITY. GIVING TUESDAY ENCOURAGES PHILANTHROPY IN ALL ITS FORMS: FUNDS, TIME, ADVOCACY, AND ACTS OF KINDNESS. IT STRIVES TO REIMAGINE A WORLD BUILT UPON SHARED HUMANITY AND GENEROSITY. GIVING TUESDAY IS COMPOSED OF MULTIPLE LAYERS OF INTERCONNECTED COMMUNITIES AND NETWORKS, EACH GROWING, ACTIVATING AND EXPANDING NETWORKS OF THEIR OWN IN THEIR OWN UNIQUE WAYS.
