Mission

Purchase and operation of a therapeutic day center and night shelter for homeless individuals. We have social workers, counselors to provide support for housing, referrals to services for health, mental health, drug & alcohol programs and job placement and dental/ vision services

990 for the year ended June 30, 2026

Program accomplishments

  • KHM purchased a 13,300 sq ft building and we essentially completed the process of renovating the building to code to allow for the opening. The night shelter renovation (40) beds opened on December 2. Counseling center has been open for over 3 years with annual client contacts exceeding 1,500 per year. We work daily with other agencies providing needed team work. We have made available space at no charge, for a College who placed 6 dental chairs for their dental school students allowing them to provide free dental care for homeless and underserved . In the same dental suite another non-profit will provide free vision services and make dentures in their lab. We have hired an executive director and previously hired a shelter director who has been providing casework services during the renovation of the building. The community has shown strong financial support for the purchase and renovation of the shelter to be known as Grace House
