WIRELESS POWER CONSORTIUM IS AN OPEN, STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION. OUR MEMBERS COLLABORATE WITH A SINGLE PURPOSE: WORLDWIDE COMPATIBILITY OF ALL WIRELESS CHARGERS AND WIRELESS POWER SOURCES.
Program accomplishments
- BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPROVED THE FINAL DRAFT VERSIONS OF THE QI V2.0.1 AND QI 2.1 AS APPROVED SPECIFICATIONS. BOARD OF DIRECTORS REVIEWED BUSINESS PLANS AND RE-APPROVED STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT FOR QI 2.2, WHICH IS EXPECTED TO LAUNCH IN 2025.BOARD OF DIRECTORS ALSO APPROVED THE DEVELOPMENT OF STANDARDS FOR SMART WATCH WIRELESS CHARGING.
- BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPROVED THE FINAL DRAFT VERSIONS OF THE KI V1.0 AND KI 1.0.1 AS APPROVED SPECIFICATIONS. THE KI STANDARDS ENABLE THE WIRELESS POWER OF KITCHEN APPLIANCES.
