THE PURPOSE OF AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE FOR NORTH CAROLINA (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "THE CORPORATION") IS TO ENGAGE IN EDUCATIONAL AND ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES, AS DEFINED BY SECTION 501 (C) (4) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, TO PROMOTE POLITICAL AND GRASSROOTS SUPPORT FOR AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE POLICIES AND PROGRAMS FOR THE RESIDENTS AND EMPLOYEES OF NORTH CAROLINA, AND TO PROMOTE POLITICAL AND GRASSROOTS SUPPORT FOR OTHER POLICIES AND PROGRAMS IMPORTANT TO THE RESIDENTS AND EMPLOYEES OF NORTH CAROLINA.
