Mission

To provide a space for musicians and artists to present their work, as well as a space for student recitals, concerts and educational workshops

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • Supported community jazz education by hosting CU Thompson Jazz Studies Recitals at a deeply discounted rate. These events, held between February and April, included livestream and recording services while keeping costs low for participants. The organization absorbed additional utility and operating expenses to make the recitals accessible.
    Expenses $1,100
  • Provided discounted space for the monthly Oh Snap Free Improv Jam, reducing rental costs from the standard rate to a fraction of the price. This allowed local musicians and audiences to enjoy an affordable creative outlet. We covered the difference in costs along with utilities to sustain the program.
    Expenses $2,210
  • Donated venue time to the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts Adult Jazz Jam, supporting a fellow nonprofits mission. We also ran the monthly Muse Jazz Jam, hiring professional musicians to mentor participants regardless of audience donations. These programs helped foster community engagement and skill development in an inclusive, low-cost environment.
    Expenses $2,300
