The East Turkistan National Awakening Movement ETNAM doing business as the East Turkistan National Movement ETNM works to end Chinas ongoing campaign of colonization genocide and occupation in East Turkistan and works to ensure the political and human rights of Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples in East Turkistan

  • International Advocacy Successfully conducted several advocacy campaigns at international forums including the United Nations to highlight the ongoing genocide in East Turkistan This included presenting reports participating in panels and engaging with diplomats and international human rights organizations to highlight East Turkistans plight and calling for an International Criminal Court investigation against Chinese officials Awareness Campaigns Organized and participated in numerous global awareness campaigns including public demonstrations social media campaigns and collaboration with other political and human rights organizations to increase global awareness of the plight of the East Turkistani people Community Support Provided direct support to the East Turkistani community in exile including assistance with asylum applications helping secure meetings with representatives cultural preservation activities and community-building initiatives Research and Reporting Jointly published a detailed report White Paper on East Turkistan with the East Turkistan Government in Exile and held a press conference event at the National Press club documenting the root of Chinas ongoing campaign of colonization genocide and occupation in East Turkistan These reports serve as a critical source of information for policymakers human rights organizations and international media Policy Engagement Engaged with government officials and policymakers in various countries to advocate for policies supporting the political and human rights of the East Turkistani people This includes efforts to pass resolutions issue statements of support and implement sanctions against those responsible for ongoing genocide in East Turkistan
