Program accomplishments
- MWS is one of the first Buddhist-based independent elementary schools for children in the West. MWS's central mission is to infuse academics and all other activities at the school with Buddhist wisdom and compassion. In partnership with Middle Way Education the school is building a new model of Buddhist-based childhood education to be shared globally on an open platform. MWS aspires to bring forth a lifelong love of learning in our children. This requires high-quality, progressive teachers with a curiosity for Buddhist wisdom teachings and a strong supportive administration. Students and families receive dedicated attention and individualized instruction, as well as an invitation to walk the path of wakefulness.Expenses $1,848,295 · grants $456,861 · revenue $1,600,371
