THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS AMONG CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICERS ("CHROS") WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE NATION'S MOST COMPLEX UNIVERSITIES; ASSEMBLE THE CHROS OF THESE UNIVERSITIES AND OTHER ACADEMICIANS IN THE CORPORATE, PUBLIC, AND UNIVERSITY SECTORS FOR ADVANCED EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT, EXPOSURE, AND OPPORTUNITIES; AND ELEVATE THE HUMAN RESOURCES DISCOURSE AND LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS OF THE NATION'S MAJOR RESEARCH UNIVERSITIES.
