Mission

Our mission is to prevent overdose deaths through free education, naloxone distribution, and community-based outreach.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • End Overdose operates as a single, unified program one integrated model for overdose prevention delivered through 59 distinct components organized into 11 service categories. This unified program centers on four core functions. First, training and certification: an online education platform offers five free courses (including a game-based certification for younger audiences), supplemented by in-person training delivered to bars and nightclubs, treatment centers, colleges, corporations, and public health departments, and supported by a nationwide chapter network of high school, college, city, and state chapters. Second, access and distribution: a mail-order system provides free naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and educational materials to all 50 states and U.S. territories. Third, public awareness: the organization reaches audiences through festival and mass-event activations (1,000+ events per year), mass digital campaigns, extensive media collaborations and press outreach, strategic partnerships (including TAO Group, Insomniac, and Deloitte), artist collaborations, and coordinated state and federal messaging campaigns. Fourth, equity and infrastructure: a language initiative is producing educational content, while a digital platform (EndOverdose.net) serves as the backbone connecting training, naloxone ordering, resource mapping, and chapter management.
