Program accomplishments

The organization administered a mentor training grant that trained six school-based health leaders in mentorship and leadership skills. These trained leaders subsequently provided mentorship and guidance to others entering or new to the field of school-based health, expanding the capacity and sustainability of the workforce. The organization also convened the field through virtual learning opportunities, including a statewide webinar highlighting best practices in school-based health care delivery. In addition, it facilitated regular virtual Zoom sessions to provide ongoing support, consultation, and peer connection for professionals working directly with youth in school settings. These activities supported improved practice, strengthened professional networks, and enhanced the quality and consistency of school-based health services for children and adolescents.
