Program accomplishments
- Cornerstone Family Resource Center (CFRC) provides community-based programs and services that strengthen lives through faith, family, education, and employment. During 2025, the organization served low-income individuals and families throughout the Greater Houston area through resource navigation, food assistance, youth and family support services, and community outreach programs. CFRC provided Medicaid YES Waiver Community Living Support services to youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families through contracts with local mental health authorities, including Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, Gulf Coast Center, and Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare. Services focused on improving family stability, independent living skills, emotional wellness, and access to community resources. The organization also operated resident services programs at Premier on Woodfair Apartments, providing food distributions, educational workshops, resource referrals, benefits assistance, and community engagement activities for residents. Through partnerships with the Houston Food Bank and other community organizations, CFRC helped families access food, healthcare, employment resources, and public benefits. In addition, CFRC conducted community outreach and resource navigation activities designed to increase self-sufficiency and improve quality of life for underserved individuals and families.Expenses $17,000 · grants $250
