Mission

Our mission is to teach Arizona's youth to succeed in life, regardless of their socio-economic background through the microcosm and vehicle for life that is soccer.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • In 2024 286 players attended FC Batavia's tryouts resulting in the Club fielding 12 teams and 182 players ranging in age from 5 to 18. The Club increased its coaching staff from 12 to 13 in 2024 ensuring that 10 of the 12 teams had two full time dedicated coaches. The Club's teams participate in the Arizona Soccer Association's Advanced League, Open League as well as in its academy division for our younger players. The Club strives to strike a balance between the development of players with the goal of winning. The Club continued supporting those with financial needs by providing approximately $19,000 in aid / reduced fees to 14 players / families. The Club teams continued to experience great success on the field. Our 2013 girls team won its division in back-to-back seasons earning promotions from Open League Division Three to the Champions League, the highest Open League Division. They also won two tournaments and were finalists in two others. Our 2011 boys earned promotion from the Arizona State League to the Premier League, the highest in the state. They won the Desert Classic and the Desert Super Cup and were finalists in three other tournaments. We had two teams win their division and one finish second and thus earning promotions to the next division in the Open League. Multiple teams also reached the finals of various tournaments. Our training curriculum is designed by our Director of Coaching and teaches the Dutch Total Soccer Method, which focuses on the players controlling the ball and passing their way up the field.
