Mission

HEARTFIRE TRAINS YOUNG ADULTS TO PERFORM BASIC MEDICAL SKILLS AND TO ADVANCE THEIR HUMANITARIAN APTITUDE, AND THEN PROVIDES UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES TO TRAVEL ABROAD ON MISSION TRIPS, TRANSPORTING THEM FROM THEIR FAMILIAR SURROUNDINGS TO SERVE IN THE UNFAMILIAR PLACE WHERE REAL TRANSFORMATION BEGINS.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • THROUGH INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL & HUMANITARIAN MISSION TRIPS, HEARTFIRE LEADS AMERICANS OUT OF THEIR COMFORTABLE, WESTERN ROUTINE INTO DESPERATE PLACES - THE KIND FOUND IN IMPOVERISHED VILLAGES AND HOPE-FILLED HOSPITALS. IT IS HERE WHERE OUR PARTICIPANTS UNDERGO A LIFE-LONG TRANSFORMATION AND RETURN HOME ETERNALLY CHANGED. IN 2023, WE WERE PRIVILEGED TO LEAD HUNDREDS OF PRE-HEALTH STUDENTS AND MEDICAL PERSONNEL ON SHORT-TERM MISSIONS ACROSS THE AMERICAS AND MIDDLE EAST. HERE, OUR TEAMS WERE ABLE TO TREAT THOUSANDS OF PATIENTS, PERFORM DOZENS OF LIFE-EXTENDING SURGERIES, AND TRAIN LOCAL PHYSICIANS, ALL WHILE ADVANCING THE MEDICAL INGENUITY OF AMERICAN UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS PURSUING A CAREER IN HEALTHCARE, WITH THE GOAL OF INSPIRING MANY TO CHANGE THIS WORLD WITH THEIR MEDICAL GIFTEDNESS.
