TO ACT AS AN AMERICAN PROVINCE OF THE RELIGIOUS ORDER OF ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIESTS KNOWN AS HERALDS OF GOOD NEWS, BASED IN ELURU, INDIA; TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORKS OF HERALDS OF GOOD NEWS IN INDIA THROUGH THE GOOD NEWS CHARITABLE TRUST.
Program accomplishments
- ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIESTS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF HERALDS OF GOOD NEWS ORDER, ESTABLISHED IN ELURU, INDIA, AND ARE WORKING IN THE UNITED STATES HAVE TAKEN A VOW OF POVERTY AND DONATE THEIR SALARIES TO THE ORGANIZATION. THE PRIESTS ARE REIMBURSED FOR LIVING EXPENSES, AND THE REMAINING FUNDS ARE DONATED TO GOOD NEWS CHARITABLE TRUST TO FURTHER THE CHARITABLE WORKS OF HERALDS OF GOOD NEWS ORDER. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION ALSO MADE DONATIONS TO DIVINE MERCY FORMATION HOUSE IN TANZANIA AND QUEEN MARY'S SECONDARY SCHOOL WHICH IS RUN BY HERALDS OF GOOD NEWS ORDER. ADDITIONAL FUNDS WERE DONATED TO ST. FRANCIS CONVENT AND THE DIOCESE OF KHAMMAM SOCIETY BOTH OF WHICH ARE LOCATED IN INDIA.Expenses $2,691,329 · grants $1,651,004
