Mission
THE INTERNATIONAL RETINAL IMAGING SOCIETY WAS CREATED TO FACILITATE THE ADVANCEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND SCIENCE AND INNOVATION IN THE FIELD OF RETINAL IMAGING BY INTEGRATING BASIC SCIENCE, CLINICAL MEDICINE, AND INDUSTRY, AND WILL AIM TO PROVIDE AN INFRASTRUCTURE AND PLATFORM TO COORDINATE COLLABORATION AND EXCHANGE BY THOSE INTERESTED IN RETINAL IMAGING.

- HOLDS AN ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP AND PROMOTES OTHER MEETINGS AROUND THE WORLD THAT SHARE NEW DISCOVERIES THAT WILL ADVANCE THE SCIENCE OF RETINAL IMAGING. ALSO CO-SPONSORS OR FACILITATE RELATED MEDICAL EVENTS FOR CLINICIANS AND RESEARCHERS, SUCH AS ONLINE DISCUSSIONS OF RETINAL DISEASE CASES.
