Mission

THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH CHILDREN FROM THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY SUPPORTING IN VARIOUS CULTURALASPECTS INCLUDING THE TEACHING OF THE TRADITIONAL MEXICAN ACTIVITY OF THE CHARRERIA

990 for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • The year 2025 was very productive for both of our programs. As our mission states we provide younger generations the opportunity to know and practice cultural activities. Through our activities we are sure that we were able to keep 130 students from the ages 4-25 occupied in something beneficial instead of being on their phone, involved in drinking, drugs etc. We were able to accomplish this through our volunteers, parents support and the donations we received from corporations and individuals. Our programs participated in a few events within the local community Taste of Mableton Parade, Hispanic heritage festivals, school performances, back to school events and fundraisers. These events are utilized to connect local officials and leaders with our students.
    Expenses $84,712
  • Ballet Folklorico Teotl had a great 2025 year full of events. We started the year with a performance at corporate events. For 5 de mayo we had an eventful weekend participating at a few events. Our next big performance was our fundraising performance in September. It was a great success We put on a 2 hour show where we had about 300 spectators. This event helps raise funds for our costumes for the following year. Followed by a very busy Hispanic Heritage month. These events are the most important as they reflect the cultural month. We had a very successful year all thanks to the donations we received.
    Expenses $75,700
  • Our Mariachi program started this past year. We were lucky to purchase a few instruments for the mariachi group. We are lucky to have an amazing instructor who has had over 25 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Pepe Lopez. They group made their debut in November 2025 and we are excited to have more students.
    Expenses $14,419
  • Charreria program is a Mexican equestrian program, where the girls do a routine on side saddle and the boys participate in a variety of challenges known as lucks (suertes). We had a great year. We participated in the St. Patricks Day parade in downtown Atlanta. We hosted a fall festival fundraiser to help raise funds for the costumes and other program costs. Thank you to the donations we were able to lower the cost of the girls teams costumes. The girls teams participated in their state competition. The boys team competed in the juvenile competition and one of the participants won first place in bull riding. In addition, in the summer the elementary aged team was created and began their practices. Charreria also participated in several schools where they showed off their roping skills and promoted Mexican culture during Hispanic heritage month. We were also able to bring in instructors for intensive practices to help the participates practice their skills.
    Expenses $5,407
