Mission
Mission of Advocacy to Legacy is to educate individuals, families and communities how to advocate for themselves in order to change lives.
Program accomplishments
- We work with residents, youth, and neighborhood partners to conduct walk audits that identify safety issues and opportunities for improvement. We then present clear recommendations to city and state departments, community organizations, and local businesses to help create safer, more accessible, and more walkable neighborhoos for all. We have launched an initiative to teach residents the full homeownership process and provide the resources they need to succeed. We teach students how to change laws and policy.Expenses $171,833
