OPERATION WALK IS A NON-PROFIT VOLUNTEER MEDICAL ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES FREE SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR PATIENTS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES AND IN THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT ACCESS TO LIFE-IMPROVING CARE FOR ARTHRITIS OR OTHER DEBILITATING BONE AND JOIN CONDITIONS.OPERATION WALK ALSO EDUCATED IN-COUNTY ORTHOPEDIC SURGEONS, PHYSICAL THERAPISTS, AND OTHER HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL ON THE MOST ADVANCED TREATMENTS AND SURGICAL TECHNIQUES FOR DISEASES OF THE HIP AND KNEE JOINT IN THE EFFORT TO CREATE A LASTING CONTRIBUTION TO THE CARE OF PATIENTS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES.
