Program accomplishments

  • A three month long program called Sound & Vision which worked with two groups of individuals at different stages of their artistic development to collaborate together in a performance. This used audio and video art that was worked on as a group as the foundation, and when played live was used as a collaborative and improvisational tool to create a new work. It was live and interactive and audiences could participate by either walking around it and listening, or playing different instruments to add to the whole. It encouraged artists who can be isolated while learning about and producing electronic or video work to expand their networks, and get more comfortable in the collaborative space.
