Mission

elevateHER'S MISSION IS TO FOSTER SELF-WORTH AND GRIT IN YOUNG WOMEN THROUGH MENTORING, OUTDOOR ADVENTURE, AND HOLISTIC WELLNESS PROGRAMS.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • In 2025, elevateHER provided year-round Positive Youth Development programming for young women living in rural central Colorado through a combination of outdoor adventure, mentorship, wellness education, leadership development, and community service. During the year, elevateHER served approximately 130 unique youth participants through multiple 10-week program sessions, mentorship opportunities, outdoor recreation experiences, wellness activities, and service-learning projects. Programming included hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, rafting, conservation projects, leadership workshops, and community-building activities. All transportation, equipment, meals, permits, and instruction were provided at no cost to participants, reducing barriers to participation for youth who may otherwise lack access to outdoor recreation and enrichment opportunities. In addition to measurable participation outcomes, elevateHER helped participants build confidence, resilience, leadership skills, healthy peer relationships, and stronger connections to caring adult mentors. Youth engaged in community service projects that fostered a sense of stewardship, responsibility, and belonging while contributing meaningful volunteer service to local conservation and community partners. The organization finalized and began implementing its 5 year (2025-2030) strategic plan, expanded leadership development opportunities through its high-school focused Venture program, and strengthened partnerships with schools, public agencies, conservation organizations, and community stakeholders. These efforts contributed to a safer, more supportive environment for rural Colorado youth while increasing access to positive developmental experiences that promote long-term physical, emotional, and social well-being.
