Mission

The purpose and goal of the Message In The Music Campaign is to use music and the performing arts to promote unity and love in the community and to channel the creative talent of the artists to raise the community?s conscious awareness around social issues that impact our community. The Message In the Music is an Edu-tainment event whereas each show will have a theme such as Police Brutality Unity Black-on-Black Crimes Love Domestic Violence etc. and Community and Spiritual Leaders along with the artists will offer words of wisdom and Edu-tainment as a source of healing awareness and inspiration around that week?s theme.

  • Community Showcase: The culmination of our program the Community Showcase has provided a platform for our youth to express themselves creatively. This event not only highlights their artistic talents but also reinforces the sense of community and unity among participants and attendees.

  • Youth Empowerment and Skill Development: Over the past year our program has successfully recruited taught and trained a diverse group of youth from our community. Through engaging workshops and mentorship we have equipped them with essential life skills and knowledge to become positive contributors to society.

  • Community Awareness and Engagement: Our program has been effective in raising awareness about critical social issues such as the impact of 400 years of slavery on the Black community. This increased awareness has led to more informed and engaged community members who are inspired to take action and create positive change.
