Mission
Lift One Up is a non-profit organization that inspires, encourages, and empowers women to reach their full potential. We lift up the spiritual, emotional, and psychological well-being of individuals one step at a time. The original mission of Life One Up (LOU) was to help those defined by their current or past challenges as they attempted to navigate through the complex issues of their present. Today, LOU has become so much more. One's issues or challenges are not a prerequisite or a determining factor in our willingness to invest in the lives of others, women of all demographics, and today's youth. Providing a clear-cut pathway filled with hope and a defined purpose for all of our participants is our goal. LOU believes it is not how you start in life; it is how you finish it that matters most!
Program accomplishments
- Annual Vision Board Party 32 Women participated in creating a vision board to cast vision for 2025. 10 of those women were from one of our local partnerships and were sponsored by Lift One Up. The participants were able to focus on their goals and dreams for the coming year and create a focal point and reminder that they have hope for their future. Mentoring Program We impacted twenty women through more than one hundred hours of individual and small-group mentoring. These sessions have provided a safe space for personal growth and spiritual development, where women were taught, encouraged, and challenged to step into new levels of confidence and purpose. We also held a Mentoring Ceremony with dinner and a celebration of seven of our Mentees who participated in the one-on-one program for six months.Womens Retreat 28 Women gathered for a powerful time of worship and Spirit-filled teaching where they encountered God personally and with others. The retreat provided opportunity to connect with other women, create space to refresh, restore, and renew spirit, soul, and body!Local Partnerships Program We have been able to serve over six hundred women and young adults. By collaborating with community partners, we have expanded our reach! Partnering with organizations that serve those who have been rescued from human trafficking, women in the healing process of addiction and youth who desire to have careers that make a difference in our world. We offered life building skills and inspired them in their faith to live meaningful and purpose-driven lives.Youth Leadership Authority Provided a Spiritual Development session with 25 students teaching them the power of having the proper perspective when lifes challenges happen. They also had the opportunity to create vision boards and share them.Refuge for Women Two women participated in our mentoring program (one-on-one) experiencing personal growth and personal development.Hoving Home Eight to ten women participated in our bi-weekly small group mentoring session experiencing personal growth and personal development, as well as learning the power of being transparent amongst their peers.Ignite Life Participated in bi-monthly speaking engagements sharing topics that brought healing and hope to women in various churches in the Las Vegas Valley.ChurchLV School of Ministry Five second year young ladies participated in the mentoring program. Because the value is seen in our programming all second-year (female) students are required to participate. Many share how important the experience was to their overall spiritual and personal growth.Global Missions We continue to expand our reach beyond the Las Vegas Valley. Costa Rica - In April 2025, 18 participants traveled from Las Vegas, NV to Liberia, Costa for one week to serve more than five hundred women, children, youth, and families. The team led childrens ministry with skits, games, music, and prayer; conducted outreach by delivering food and essentials house to house; honored senior women with a cultural celebration; and hosted a family fun day that brought joy and connection to the community.Cambodia In August 2025, our team partnered with an international organization (Esthers Voice) for the ninth year to host three-day retreats for over 120 women across a two- and half-week period. These retreats provided teaching, worship, and personal encouragement, reminding women of their value and dignity in Gods eyes. Many shared that this experience gave them renewed strength and confidence to face lifes challenges with hope. Each of these initiatives reflects our mission to invest in women, youth, and families by nurturing their personal and spiritual growth. We celebrate the countless moments of transformation we witnessedwhether in one-on-one mentoring conversations, community gatherings, or cross-cultural ministry.Expenses $46,878
