Program accomplishments

  • Mothers for Others was founded in 2011 by a group of mothers in Greenwich, Connecticut to collect gently-used baby equipment for local families in need. Since transitioning to operate solely as a diaper bank, the volunteer organization has dramatically increased its impact, distributing nearly 500,000 diapers in 2024 compared to 15,000 in the first year. The organization has now distributed over 1,250,000 diapers to families in need and earned the distinction as largest independent diaper bank in Fairfield County.
