Program accomplishments

  • Community Free Choice Client Market. On average residents we served an average of 125 families each week. These residents left our facility with a renewed sense of hope and purpose and more than a full cart of groceries they chose. This program also has a focus on assisting hundreds of households with complete Thanksgiving dinners, emergency food bags, food assistance for the homeless and partners with law enforcement in their efforts to assist neighboring communities.
    Expenses $107,500 · grants $45,000
  • Parenting Program/Baby Closet We are operating a large baby closet that provides everything a caregiver would use for newborn children up through size 5T. We have a team of volunteers that hand checks items before making them available for residents. The entire room is sorted and organized to ensure a positive shopping experience for residents in need. In addition to material goods this program also provides monthly life skills educational training to help residents move forward with success and sustainability. The training modules are also paired with mentors from our team to help determine what caregivers can use and potential other needs from the household and family. By taking the time to build a relationship and trust we are able to better understand the underlying root causes of needs that are holding caregivers back from success.
    Expenses $9,190
  • Thanksgiving Outreach We conduct a annual distribution of complete Thanksgiving Baskets, providing food and items to families in need and crisis within our service area. We also partner with local law enforcement, couselors, and general residents that provide us family names that they know would benefit from the basket. We are able to provide this program of excellence with alot of pre planning and preparation and using our team of approximately 120 dedicated volunteers. In 2025 we assisted over 300 households and additional residents that obtained other related assistance for various needs.
