Program accomplishments

  • Outreach to Dina's Orphanage in Haiti began in 2015. Dina currently has 15 orphans plus 4 helpers, but has been as high as 31. Our monthly outreach includes money for food, helpers for the orphanage, school expenses, propane and transportation costs. A mission team traveled to Haiti in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 to help the orphanage with special project needs including a well, stove, and bunk beds for the kids. Our outreach has also included medical expenses and funeral expenses when needed. In 2020 the orphanage moved to a new safer and more sanitary location with access to water. Waters of Grace helped with moving costs, a water holding tank, a motorcycle for transportation, and new mattresses for the children. In 2021 the orphanage had to move again. Due to increasing violence in the area, the children were moved again in 2024 closer to the Dominican border. They are able to attend school and are thriving, however, they continue to be in need. They had to leave everything behind except for a small bag of clothes for each child, and were sleeping on the floor. Waters of Grace helped with moving costs and school fees. In 2025 we also helped them get new beds and mattresses.
    grants $20,380
  • Outreach to Haitian Support/God's Lambs began in 2018. God's Lambs Orphanage was created in 2018 with 18 kids ages 3-11 living on the streets, homeless, starving and some of them sick. Many were abandoned so young that they didn't even know their names. In 2020, the orphans were moved to a safer location due to the political unrest in the country, and were joined by 6 other orphans being supported by a local church. Bunk beds were provided for the orphans, as well as goats and chickens. The children attended a local school in walking distance of their location, and received medical care when needed. 6 additional orphans were added in 2021. In 2023, due to political unrest and gang violence, the children were moved to safer locations either with extended family members or to a local church supported orphanage. In 2024, grants also include outreach to global charitable organizations for disaster relief and food distribution with an emphasis on serving children and widows. In 2025, grants were made to Haiti Mission of Hope and Care to build a brighter future for the Haiti island of La Gonave to transform lives through accessible healthcare, quality education and strong community support. School supplies and backpacks were given out to children, and a well was dug to provide water to the community. They are in the process of building a safe compound including an orphanage, school, clinic, church and garden.
    grants $50,855
  • Outreach to children and families in Haiti began in 2016. Several children/families have been sponsored, helping them with essential items such as food, clothing, shelter, medical care and school costs. In 2020, Waters of Grace also helped with funeral costs for a Pastor and his wife related to one of our sponsor families who were tragically robbed and killed. In 2021, Waters of Grace provided aid to earthquake victims also. In 2025, two families were helped with immigration paperwork and fees to be able to legally stay in the U.S.
    grants $86,066
