Mission

Our mission is to enhance the lives of children who have special needs and the high school athletes who mentor them. We believe that modeling acceptance and inclusion strengthens and transforms our communities.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • Athletes for Kids has, essentially, only one program function -- the pairing of high school athletes with children of special needs in an effort to promote the organization's mission in our communities. As such, materially all expenses support labor and related payroll taxes related to opening, maintaining, and administering local chapters at area high schools to achieve program goals. In addition, occupancy expenses, general office expenses, as well as transportation, mentor event expenses, and marketing are all spent to support the overall program and mission of the organization.
    Expenses $175,014 · revenue $228,107
