THE VALENTIN FUSTER MOUNT SINAI FOUNDATION FOR SCIENCE, HEALTH AND EMPOWERMENT SEEKS TO IMPROVE DRAMATICALLY THE CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH OF LOCAL AND GLOBAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE RESEARCH AND CLINICAL CARE PROGRAMS OF MOUNT SINAI HEART AND CARDIOVASCULAR INSTITUTE AT ITS SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS, ENHANCING COLLABORATIONS BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY. IN PARTICULAR, MOUNT SINAI HEART AND CARDIOVASCULAR INSTITUTE BRINGS TOGETHER RENOWNED PHYSICIANS, RESEARCHERS AND EDUCATORS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE TO PROVIDE ADVANCED AND COMPASSIONATE CLINICAL CARE, TO CONDUCT RESEARCH INTO CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH AND TREATMENT OF HEART DISEASE, INCLUDING CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE, ATHEROSCLEROSIS AND THROMBOSIS, AND TO STUDY WELLNESS AND PREVENTION.
