Program accomplishments

  • Chelan Valley Hope provides a confidential intake and assessment by highly trained volunteers and staff who know the local resources and supports client households with emergency stipends to assist with rent, utilities, gas, car repairs, bus tickets, non-covered medical/dental care, clothing, and more. Our organization helps clients develop a care plan to achieve or restore solvency, and we connect clients with resources for continued recovery, growth, and long-term success. In 2024 we assisted over 3,000 clients. Since 2015 Chelan Valley Hope has actively joined with other agencies in Chelan and Douglas Counties to form a Community Housing Network with the purpose of providing coordinated access to housing and shelter for residents facing homelessness. Chelan Valley Hope administers Commerce grants through the county Grants. Every year, our clients receive case management services for homelessness or being at-risk or facing homelessness. We assisted over 300 clients who received emergency shelter for an average of 4 nights and received case management support to locate improved stability with transitional or permanent housing.
