THE BOISE BICYCLE PROJECT PROMOTES THE PERSONAL, SOCIAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF BICYCLING. THROUGH INCLUSIVE ACCESS TO REFURBISHED BICYCLES, REPAIR, AND EMPOWERING EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES, WE STRIVE TO BUILD A STRONGER BICYCLING COMMUNITY.

  • THE BOISE BICYCLE PROJECT PROVIDES BOTH AFFORDABLE BICYCLES AND PARTS TO THE COMMUNITY AND FREE BICYCLES TO UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH AND ADULTS. IN 2024, BBP DONATED 1,666 BICYCLES, SOLD 1,180 AFFORDABLE AND REFURBISHED BICYCLES, AND PROVIDED INCLUSIVE ACCESS TO ALL MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY WITH 10,000 + PEOPLE SERVED IN EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS, SHOP SERVICES AND FREE COMMUNITY EVENTS.

WE ALSO PROVIDE A SAFE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT FOR MEMBERS AND THE COMMUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT THEIR BICYCLE AND BICYCLE MAINTENANCE. DURING 2024, WE HAD 820 MEMBERS, 651 MEMBER CLASSES, 113 WORK-TRADE HOURS UTILIZING THE SHOP SPACE, 58 STOPS WITH 790 KID & ADULT MOBILE FIX IT REPAIRS.
