Mission

Rocketdog saves homeless or abandoned animals from euthanasia and places them in adoptive homes.

990 for the year ended July 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Rocketdog is dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned animals from euthanasia in overcrowded Bay Area shelters. Rescued dogs are placed into temporary foster homes where they are socialized, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and treated for any medical or behavioral conditions prior to adoption. The organization then actively seeks out permanent quality homes for these rescued dogs through volunteer networks, online adoption pages, weekend adoption fairs, and neighborhood posted campaigns. To date, over 11,220 dogs have been rescued.
