- REPRESENT THE PERMANENT RIDE AMUSEMENT PARK INDUSTRY IN MEETINGS WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH, WHICH REGULATES RIDE SAFETY AND INSPECTION. THE ASSOCIATION HELPS TO CLARIFY REGULATORY PRACTICES, INSPECTION PROTOCOL AND REGULATORY REFORM AND INTERPRETATION.
- TRACKING BILLS OF INTEREST IN THE STATE LEGISLATURE AND OFTEN JOINS WITH OTHER TOURISM-RELATED ASSOCIATIONS TO LOBBY LEGISLATORS AND TO MAKE THE POSITION OF THE STATE'S AMUSEMENT PARK INDUSTRY KNOWN.
- COORDINATE A SMALL ANNUAL CONVENTION TO OFFER TRAINING AND SAFETY SEMINARS TO INDUSTRY EMPLOYEES.
