Mission

To bring to life and make relevant the world-changing events, foundational documents, and civic principles that are the bedrock of our nation in a way that inspires greatness, ignites a curiosity for learning, generates respect and responsibility, and unifies Americans through their shared national identity. • The Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route and the Franco-American Alliance is a richly illustrated book that brings to life the extraordinary story of the crucial wartime alliance between France and America during the American Revolution. The narrative is keyed to a fold-out map and further enhanced by a guide for travelers to historical sites along the 9-state National Historic Route that retraces the route of the Allied Forces from Newport to victory in Yorktown. The book was written at the request of the American Society of the French Legion of Honor and the Society of the Cincinnati.
