Mission

As a religious non-profit organization, Sabbath Keepers Fellowship & Prison Ministry provides free services, programs and materials which minister to the educational, rehabilitative, spiritual and emotional needs of all Sabbath-keeping prison inmates in the USA, their chaplains, immediate families, and our free-world members, both during their incarceration and (to a limited degree) upon their release from prison.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Social Media Support: Social media provides a connection to our inmates, chaplains, freeworld members, volunteers, and the families of inmates across the nation. We use these tools to communicate with, teach, support and offer fellowship and assistance to all of those whom we serve. We currently have over 15,000 online members we regularly communicate with through social media, with a combined reach that includes over 50,000 others. Since our membership and supporters are located throughout the world, and we are based in a single location, these tools are indispensable to our operations and the performance of our mission.
    Expenses $2,066
  • Passover Package Program: The Passover Package Program is our largest and provides the minimum scripturally required elements to observe the Passover festival, which is required by all those who observe the 7th day Sabbath AND the scriptural festivals as outlined in Leviticus 23. In 2025, 2,118 festival-observant prisoners in 99 prisons in 16 states were provided a Passover Package. 14 volunteers gathered together to assemble the Passover Packages. 4 of those volunteers personally delivered 694 Packages to chaplains in 19 prisons across Texas. 3 volunteers traveled to NJ to pick up 500 cases of matzah and grape juice for the Passover packages.
    Expenses $33,085
  • Inmate Assistance and Support: Sabbath Keepers Fellowship provides inmate assistance and support to Sabbath-keeping inmates by providing religious garments; bibles, books and teachings; weekly Sabbath and special festival worship services on local prison units; Parole assistance packages; the Complete Believers Calendar; the Complete Believers Songbook and music CD; as well as inmate correspondence and one-on-one mentoring/counseling. 6500 inmates in 478 state and federal prisons across 35 states received some kind of assistance and support from Sabbath Keepers Fellowship. 130 inmates received assistance and support from Sabbath Keepers Fellowship in the form of religious garments/ devotional items such as the mens kippah and womens head covering, tallith, katan and tefillin; 818 inmates received bibles, books, and teachings; 680 inmates received Sabbath and festival worship services on their prison unit; 4,700 inmates received our semi-annual newsletter; 500 inmates received a Complete Believers Calendar, and 10 inmates received immersions on their prison unit by volunteers from Sabbath Keepers Fellowship.
  • Volunteer Assistance and Support: Sabbath Keepers Fellowship recruits and manages volunteers from across the country to help us provide our programs and services to prisoners. We assist new volunteers in their training and in getting certified within the state prison system of their choice. We then help connect them with Sabbath-keeping prison communities who need volunteers. We also provide on-going volunteer support by providing bibles, books, music, study programs, devotional items, and festival supplies for group worship services through them to their inmates on prison units. We also occasionally assist with the cost of fuel, meals and/or overnight lodging so they can travel to prison units and provide worship services and mentoring to our inmate members. In 2025, Sabbath Keepers Fellowship provided 5 volunteers with various forms of assistance and devotional items for their prison communities consisting of 251 inmates, and provided 3 volunteers with fuel, meals and motel while traveling so they could pick up and deliver matzah and grape juice for the Passover packages.
    Expenses $3,572
  • Chaplaincy Assistance & Support: We receive calls from prison chaplains across the country who are seeking answers to their questions or help with their needs for Sabbath-keeping inmates and prison communities. Many prison chaplains have had little experience with those of our faith and are not familiar with their beliefs and needs. Others lack contact with established ministries and resources to help them. We do our best to assist them with both of these dilemmas. We answer their questions and advise them about the beliefs and practices of our members. We provide our materials and supplies to them upon request and free of charge. We assist in locating and introducing new volunteers to them in their particular areas, help those volunteers get certified if required, then assist in conveniently scheduling their worship services, if necessary. We make arrangements with chaplains all over the USA for the efficient delivery of thousands of free Passover packages each year. When asked to do so, we attempt to resolve any problems between them and their Sabbath-keeping inmates or their families on faith-based issues. We also connect them with other beneficial ministries and resources.
    Expenses $1,200
