Mission

To preserve and promote railroad history through a fully operational museum showcasing railroad artifacts rolling stock and a model railroad. In addition our educational program has begun to take hold with a significant focus on public schools and homeschool S.T.E.A.M.-related programs now offered.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • The outreach of our Educational department is impressive. From Ernies Little Engines for 1-5-year-olds hosting 30-90 participants each week to our Reading by the Rails and Family Funday Sundays the benefits to the community have grown in popularity and attendance.
  • Constant improvement of the model aspect of S.T.E.A.M. instruction of our modeling division through a group of individuals dedicated to improving our communitys youth. The best parts are the skills learned and their often desire to receive a tool set for Christmas instead of electronics.
  • The efforts of the team of volunteers have taken our community outreach from a mere 350-400 visitors in 2016 to an astonishing 17,000 visitors from 25 different countries in both 2024 and 2025.
