TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITY TO ALL YOUTH IN A POSITIVE CARING ENVIRONMENT TO ENABLE THEM TO BECOME PRODUCTIVE, RESPONSIBLE, INFLUENTIAL CITIZENS.
Program accomplishments
- THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB PROVIDES CORE PROGRAMS BASED ON PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, CULTURAL AND SOCIAL NEEDS AND INTERESTS OF GIRLS AND BOYS TO DEVELOP THE QUALITIES TO BECOME RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND LEADERS. THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF EDINBURG RIO GRANDE VALLEY HAS ACTIVELY SOUGHT TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF GIRLS AND BOYS TYPICALLY UNDERSERVED BY OTHER YOUTH AGENCIES. ALL PROGRAMS ARE STRUCTURED AROUND A SET OF CORE BELIEFS, WHICH ARE: PROVIDING CLUB MEMBERS WITH A SAFE PLACE TO LEARN; ONGOING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CARING, ADULT PROFESSIONALS; LIFE ENHANCING PROGRAMS AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCES; HOPE AND OPPORTUNITY.Expenses $1,276,158
