VAIL VALLEY FOUNDATION WAS CREATED TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE VAIL VALLEY AND SHOWCASE OUR COMMUNITY TO A GLOBAL AUDIENCE THROUGH ARTS, ATHLETICS, AND EDUCATION.
Program accomplishments
- VAIL VALLEY FOUNDATION HOLDS THE VAIL DANCE FESTIVAL EVERY YEAR. THE FESTIVAL INCLUDES SEVERAL PERFORMANCES BY INTERNATIONAL COUPLES AND ENSEMBLES FROM MAJOR INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES HELD AT THE GERALD R. FORD AMPHITHEATER. THE PERFORMANCES VARY FROM YEAR TO YEAR, BUT FREQUENTLY INCLUDE GUEST ARTISTS FROM THE AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE AND OTHER WORLD-CLASS COMPANIES.
