THE RSPA IS THE TRADE ASSOCIATION OF ALL MAJOR RECQUET SPORTS TEACHING PROFESSIONALS. THE PROGRAMS PROVIDED BY THE RSPA STRIVE TO RAISE THE STANDARDS OF RACQUET SPORTS TEACHING AS A PROFESSION. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: MEMBERSHIP, DIVISION ACTIVITIES, EDUCATION PROGRAMS, NATIONAL CONVENTIONS, PUBLICATIONS, JOB BUREAU, MEMBER INSURANCE, TESTING AND CERTIFICATION, DIVISION LIAISON, PUBLIC RELATIONS, AWARDS, SANCTIONING, AND NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS. THE RSPA HAS APPROXIMATELY 12,018 MEMBERS EACH YEAR.
