IT IS TO ENHANCE ALL ASPECTS OF ACADEMIC ENDEAVORS FOR THE STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND ADMINISTRATION AT BOOKER T WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL IN TULSA OKLAHOMA
Program accomplishments
- IN THE TWELVE MONTHS ENDING JUNE 30, 2025 THE BOARD AWARDED $102,404. IN GRANTS. IN ADDITION TO THE GRANTS, THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS ACT/SAT PREPARATION REPORTS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR ALL TEACHERS. THE FOUNDATION HAS TWO MAJOR FUND REASING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. IN THE FALL WE HOST THE FALL FUNDRAISER WHICH IS PRIMARILY A LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN IN WHICH PAST DONORS, ALUMNI, FRIENDS OF THE FOUNDATION, AND LOCAL INSTITUTIONS ARE ASKED FOR DONATIONS. IN ADDITION TO THE LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN, AN APPEAL IS MADE AT THE ANNUAL HOME-COMING FOOTBALL GAME. IN THE TWELVE MONTHS ENDING JUNE 30, 2025, THE FALL FUNDRAISER NETTED $34,295. THE OTHER MAJOR FUNDRAISER, GOSPEL, GRITS AND GERSHWIN, IS HELD IN THE SPRING. FUNDS WERE RAISED BY SALE OF TICKETS, THE AUCTION OF DONATED ITEMS AND CALLS FOR DONATIONS. IN THE TWELVE MONTHS ENDING JUNE 30, 2025, GGG NETTED $112,392.
