Program accomplishments

  • Moved to a new location where we opened a preschool in September, 2023 serving up to 24 children age 2-5, open from 8 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. We partner with other organizations to offer holiday celebrations for families with young and school age children. For more than 30 years, The Friendship Circle has been a place where seniors can come out to Lunch and Learn luncheons, events, shows, excursions and classes. The program provides social support, encourages community involvement, counters the effects of isolation, and brings Jewish events and outreach to seniors in the community who cannot come to us. JCC Sonoma County has fostered a strong appreciation of Jewish and Israeli Cinema within the communities of our county. Continuing the tradition of superior cultural programs, the festival brings the newest and best of Jewish-themed and Israeli films that are rarely if ever featured on our local silver screens. Holocaust commemoration, Hanukkah celebrations and other cultural and arts programs to provide opportunity to strengthen the Jewish community. Create weekly community newsletter and online calendar to foster collaboration and networking for the Sonoma County Jewish community.
