Mission
THE NAPA DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION WAS FOUNDED TO GUIDE THE DISTRICT'S ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT. ITS MEMBERS INCLUDE RESTAURANTS, SHOPS, STORES AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WHICH ARE LOCATED IN THE CITY OF NAPA.
Program accomplishments
- BEAUTIFICATION AND IMPROVEMENT - INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF HANGING FLOWER BASKETS ON 180 LAMP POSTS IN DOWNTOWN. THEY ARE MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND REPOTTED TWICE A YEAR. ENSURE THAT ALL SIDEWALKS AND GARAGES ARE CLEANED ON A REGULAR BASIS. LOCAL ARTISTS HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO PROVIDE ART, WHICH IS FORM FITTED TO UTILITY BOXES LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTIONS.

- CHRISTMAS - DOWNTOWN IS DECORATED WITH CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AND ALL LAMP POSTS ARE WRAPPED IN GARLAND. A 29' TREE IS ERECTED IN VETERANS PARK, WHERE A COMMUNITY BASED CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING IS HELD. IN ADDITION, NAPA HOSTS A CHRISTMAS PARADE.
