Program accomplishments
- The 2024-2025 school year was filled with vibrant community engagement and generous support for our school. We began with a strong Annual Fund Drive in the fall, and were energized by a $5,000 participation challenge from a longtime friend of the school. Families encouraged one another, grandparents joined in, and several households secured employer-matching gifts. Right before winter break, we reached 100% participation and raised over $64,000, providing vital support for our classrooms, faculty, and festival life. Last fall also brought meaningful grant support. Camellia received an $8,000 grant from the Waldorf Schools Fund to enhance the outdoor classroom area near the lower grades with a new shade structure, wooden tables, and planters. We were also awarded a $50,000 grant from the WoodNext Foundation to support our Tuition Assistance Program, helping us maintain a socioeconomically diverse and inclusive school community. In the spring, we gathered for our annual dinner auction and only fundraising event of the year. The event welcomed more than 150 guests and raised just under $70,000, including $28,000 for our annual Fund-a-Need project, which completed our campus exterior painting initiative and brought a newly designed upper-grades play structure dreamed up by students.Expenses $1,950,315 · revenue $2,445,530
