990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • Awards Gala Program for Design and Leadership. The Design Awards give recognition to our international industry peers for yachts completed during the previous year Usually some 50 to 75 yachts are entered. We have ten yacht categories and five Awards of Distinction, which each ultimately receive awards during the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. This is widely recognized as the one award that really matters to most owners, builders, designers and industry individuals, since their selection is based on unbiased industry input and the finalists are chosen by a group of the industrys most prolific designers and builders. Between 300 and 350 individuals attend the gala event. The event recognizing these accomplishments and the awards is held in conjunction with the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).
    Expenses $183,629
  • Mixers: The Monaco mixer is a networking event in the Mediterranean for members and colleagues living and working on that side of the world who do not often have the opportunity to attend FLIBS or other events. It allows the organization to recognize sponsors in their areas of expertise. The Palm Beach mixer is also a networking event available to international members visiting the boat show. It gives recognition to our sponsors in their area of expertise, which helps business growth in the yachting industry.
    Expenses $66,777
  • FLIBS Annual Members Breakfast and Seminar held during the Ft Lauderdale Intl Boat Show (FLIBS). The event includes a review of the year, and an educational topic concerning the yachting industry. It showcases the area of expertise of the ISS, and contributes to the growth of businesses in the yacthing industry.
    Expenses $18,716
  • Other program expenses include website costs and management dedication to the program activities.
    Expenses $35,469
