THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES SHORT-TERM ACCOMMODATIONS FOR VISITING HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS AND COLLABORATES WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO ASSIST MEDICALLY VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HEALTH-RELATED HOUSING NEEDS. Program accomplishments

  • IN 2025, MOLLY'S HOUSE PROVIDED 7,938 PATIENT AND FAMILY NIGHTS OF CARE, HELPING ENSURE ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE BY REDUCING THE FINANCIAL AND LOGISTICAL BARRIERS ASSOCIATED WITH TRAVEL AND EXTENDED MEDICAL TREATMENT. ON AN AVERAGE NIGHT, MOLLY'S HOUSE WELCOMED 18 ADULTS AND 8 CHILDREN, MANY OF WHOM WERE UNDERGOING OUTPATIENT TREATMENT, RECOVERING FROM SURGERY, OR SUPPORTING A LOVED ONE DURING HOSPITALIZATION.AS HEALTHCARE CONTINUES TO SHIFT TOWARD OUTPATIENT SERVICES AND SHORTER HOSPITAL STAYS, THE NEED FOR AFFORDABLE ACCOMMODATIONS NEAR MEDICAL PROVIDERS CONTINUES TO GROW. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED NEAR MAJOR HEALTHCARE FACILITIES, MOLLY'S HOUSE ENABLES PATIENTS TO REMAIN CLOSE TO TREATMENT, HELPING REDUCE MISSED APPOINTMENTS AND EASING THE BURDEN OF PROLONGED MEDICAL CARE ON FAMILIES. THROUGH (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) GRANT AND FOUNDATION SUPPORT, MOLLY'S HOUSE EXPANDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN 2025 BY PROVIDING APPROXIMATELY 1,386 ROOM NIGHTS AT NO COST TO PATIENTS AND FAMILIES. NEARLY HALF (44%) OF ALL OCCUPIED ROOM NIGHTS WERE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, ENSURING THAT FINANCIAL HARDSHIP DID NOT PREVENT ACCESS TO ESSENTIAL MEDICAL CARE.DURING 2025, MOLLY'S HOUSE CONTINUED STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, PARTICULARLY ONCOLOGY PRACTICES, TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO SUPPORTIVE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR PATIENTS UNDERGOING TREATMENT. THE ORGANIZATION WAS ALSO ADDED TO THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY'S LODGING REFERRAL NETWORK, STRENGTHENING ITS ABILITY TO CONNECT PATIENTS AND FAMILIES WITH AFFORDABLE ACCOMMODATIONS DURING MEDICAL CARE.
