TO UNITE THROUGH OUR MEMBERSHIP THOSE PEOPLE OR GROUPS OF PEOPLE WITH A COMMON INTEREST IN DEVELOPING AND IMPROVING THE ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL INTEREST OF THE FARMER.
Program accomplishments
- COMMODITY MEETINGHANCOCK COUNTY FARM BUREAU ENCOURAGES VOLUNTEER MEMBERS TO ATTEND LEADERSHIP, COMMODITY, CONVENTIONS AND LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCES THAT HELP EDUCATE AND PROMOTE THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION. AT THESE MEETINGS VOLUNTEERS DISCUSS ISSUES THAT HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY.
- LEADERSHIPHANCOCK COUNTY FARM BUREAU MEMBERS SERVE ON THE STATE BOARD. IN THESE POSITIONS THEY HELP DEVELOP POLICY THAT WILL PROMOTE AGRICULTURE.
- PUBLIC AWARENESS PROGRAMS ABOUT FARMING. VOLUNETEER MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN THE SPONSORSHIP OF POLICY MEETINGS WITH THEIR LEGISLATORS TO EDUCATE THEM ABOUT AGRICULTURE ISSUES AND CONCERNS.
