Public Library
Program accomplishments
- Escambia County Cooperative Library System operates a free Books-By-Mail program. The service was designed with children and homebound individuals residing in our more rural areas in mind. However, this is a free service available to all Escambia County residents. Our online library automation system allows patrons to view and request titles for quick checkout. Over 1,700 books were mailed to patrons this year. Despite the rapidly rising postage cost, this program remains free and available to all in our community.Expenses $10,983 · grants $3,000
