TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING TO THE LIBRARY WITH AN EMPHASIS ON LONG-TERM SUPPORT AND PLANNED GIVING.
Program accomplishments
- TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE NEW MAKERSPACE AT THE DOWNTOWN HQ LIBRARY AND FOR THE LIBRARY'S WIFI2GO INITIATIVE. MAKERSPACE PROVIDES A FACILITY AND RESOURCES SUCH AS PRINTERS, CUTTERS, SEWING MACHINES, AND PAINT FOR PATRONS' TANGIBLE PROJECTS. WIFI2GO PROVIDES PATRONS WITH THE ABILITY TO ACCESS THE INTERNET FROM THEIR HOMES OR OTHER REMOTE LOCATIONS.
